Character info

The character

Tyrantrum is the Despot Pokémon, a fossil revival species first introduced in the Kalos region. It evolves from Tyrunt and is known in the games and anime as a powerful, regal predator said to have ruled over its ancient era. Its design and lore evoke a tyrannosaur-like king of prehistoric times, feared for its immense bite force.

This card

This is card 045/088 from the Perfect Order set, printed as a Stage 2 holo rare illustrated by Dsuke. The artwork depicts Tyrantrum roaring amid a volcanic landscape with lava flows and smoke-filled skies, emphasizing its fierce, primal nature. The card carries the set's 2026 copyright line and Pokédex entry number 0697.

How it plays

Tyrantrum is a Fighting-type Stage 2 Pokémon with 180 HP, evolving from Tyrunt. Its ability, Tyrannically Gutsy, grants it +150 HP if it has any Special Energy attached. Its attack, Wreak Havoc, costs one Fighting and one Colorless energy, deals 160 damage, and has the player flip a coin repeatedly until tails, discarding the top card of the opponent's deck for each heads. It has a weakness to Grass-type attacks (x2) and a retreat cost of three.

Authenticity

WinnTCG authenticated this card in hand, on the bench, against genuine Pokémon cards. It was checked four ways: light shone through it to check the core, its weight on a scale, its thickness measured, and its print pattern and surface texture under magnification.

How this card was graded

WinnTCG graded this card in hand, on the bench. The card was in our hands, and we sealed the case ourselves. We photographed it here under controlled light to show which card is in the case and where anything we marked sits on it.

If you are buying this slab: the grade is WinnTCG’s judgement of the card that was in front of us, and WinnTCG sealed this case. The photographs above are of that card. Compare them against what you can see through the case, because a case can be opened by anyone who has held it since.

The working behind this grade

Every grade here is published with its reasoning. The report states what each measurement returned, what the model proposed on each axis, where the grader disagreed with it, and every defect marked on the photographs above.
