Terms of service
Effective 1 November 2026. These terms are between you and Crazy Space Labs LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as WinnTCG. Using this site or submitting a card means you accept them.
What the service is
You mail us the card. We photograph it under our own lights, we seal the case, and we mail it back. What you choose is whether we grade it.
- Standard and Express. We grade the card itself, in hand, and issue all four sub-grades, an overall grade computed from them, and a full grading report. The photographs record the card we graded; they are not what we grade.
- Sealed. You mail us the card. We photograph it and seal it in clear acrylic, with no grade attached. No grade is issued, no assessment is made, and no report exists. You are buying the case, the label, the published photographs and the certificate page, and nothing on any of them states an opinion about the card's condition.
Your certificate page records which of those happened, publicly and permanently. A card sealed without a grade cannot be graded later inside the same case: that requires a new case and a new certificate.
What you pay
Every tier buys a printed label, a case, published photographs and a certificate page that keeps answering for as long as your slab exists. Two of the three add a grade.
- Sealed, $12. You ship it to us, we ship it back, within the United States — shipping is priced at checkout and is not included. Cover up to $25 while the card is with us. This tier includes no grade and no report.
- Standard, $20. You ship it to us, we ship it back — shipping is not included in the price. Cover up to $250, or $500 in bulk while the card is with us.
- Express, $55. You ship it to us, we ship it back. Cover up to $1,000, or $2,000 in bulk.
An order of 5 cards or more takes the bulk rate, and it applies to every card in the order rather than to the ones past the fourth: Sealed at $10, Standard at $17, Express at $47. A larger order takes a second, lower rate, again on every card: Standard at $15 a card on 20 or more, Express at $45 a card on 20 or more. An order never costs more than a larger one would: where reaching the next rate would cost less in total, you pay that lower total instead. The rate is frozen when you pick a tier, so a price change afterwards does not reach an order already open.
We ship within the United States only, on every tier. Shipping is quoted against your address when you order and charged as its own line, so what you pay for it depends on where you are rather than on which tier you bought.
In transit, the cover is the carrier’s, not ours. A card sent to us in a WinnTCG mail-in kit goes on a label we bought and insured to the limit of your tier, so a parcel lost on the way is a claim against that carrier’s insurance. A card you pack and send yourself travels on a label we did not buy, so we cannot insure it or trace it, and insuring it is yours to arrange.
Our own cover starts when we check the card in — when it is in our hands and logged — and runs until the sealed card is handed back to a carrier to come home. That is the window the figure on your tier describes.
Refunds
Payment is not refunded. You send us the card and nothing else: you do not photograph it, upload anything, or send us images. We grade the card itself, in hand, and every photograph on your certificate is one we took.
On Sealed there is no grade to be dissatisfied with. What you are owed is the case, the photographs and the certificate page, and those are what a complaint can be about.
Photographs
We photograph every card ourselves, under our own lights, and the photographs are ours. We publish them on your certificate page so that anyone holding the slab can compare the card against them.
Publication cannot be undone, either way, because the certificate number is sealed inside a plastic case and has to keep resolving. Read Privacy before you submit anything you would not want public.
What we do not do
These are limits of the method.
- We authenticate Pokémon cards only, and it is our opinion, not a warranty. On every Pokémon card we grade, we check for a counterfeit: a light test, weight, thickness, and print and texture under magnification. A card that passes says "Authenticated by WinnTCG" on its certificate page. Those checks find most counterfeits but cannot rule out every one, so a pass is not a guarantee that a card is genuine, original, or unaltered. We do not authenticate cards from other games, or cards we seal without grading, and a grade on those is not a statement that a card is genuine.
- We do not appraise. A grade is not a valuation and carries no promise about what anyone will pay.
- A case can be opened by whoever has held it since. We sealed it and the certificate records that, but a slab changes hands. A buyer should still compare the card against the published photographs.
- On Sealed, we state no opinion at all. The card was not assessed. Nothing on the label or the certificate page says it is in any particular condition, and no grade should be inferred from the case it is in.
- We do not guarantee that another grading company would agree. Our scale is our own and is computed differently from theirs.
The grade is our judgement
We grade the card itself, in hand, nothing more and nothing less. An AI takes a first pass from our photographs, and a person with the card in front of them confirms or overrides every sub-grade. The grade is our opinion of the card you sent, formed honestly and recorded permanently, and it is final.
Withdrawal
We may withdraw a certificate if it was issued in error, if a card was misrepresented, or if the slab is known to be damaged. A withdrawn certificate stays online and says plainly that it is no longer certified, because a page that simply vanished would leave a slab in circulation with nothing to check it against.
Acceptable use
Do not send a card you do not own or have the right to send. Do not present a card that has been trimmed, recoloured, or otherwise altered as though it were original, or a counterfeit as genuine. Do not attempt to obtain a grade by deception or interfere with the certificate service.
We may refuse or withdraw service, and return a card ungraded, for any of these.
While we have your card
This section applies to every tier, because every card comes to us.
From the moment your card reaches us until it is back in your hands, it is covered: up to $25 on Sealed, up to $250 (or $500 in bulk) on Standard, and up to $1,000 (or $2,000 in bulk) on Express. The same limit covers the journey to us when you use a WinnTCG mail-in kit, because we bought that label. A parcel you buy the label for yourself is not covered by us, as set out above. That is the figure we advertise, and it is what a claim for a card lost or damaged in our care is settled against.
Cover is a limit, not a valuation. If your card is worth more than the limit on your tier, send it on a tier with a higher one, or write to us before you send it at all.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, WinnTCG is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost sale value. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the card the claim concerns.
That limit does not reduce the cover stated above for a card lost or damaged while it is in our care. A claim of that kind is settled against the cover for your tier, not against the grading fee.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Text messages (SMS)
We text you only when you ask us to send a sign-in code to a US mobile number.
What we send. One-time sign-in codes: a six-digit code that signs you in or creates your account. We do not send marketing, promotional or order-update texts.
How often. Message frequency varies. You get one text each time you ask for a code, and none otherwise.
Message and data rates may apply.
To opt out, reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to any text from us. We will confirm, and then send you no more. Reply START to receive them again.
For help, reply HELP to any text from us, or email hello@winntcg.com.
Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase, and you can always sign in with an email address instead. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not share your mobile number with anyone for marketing; the privacy policy says who does see it, and why.
Changes
We may change these terms. The effective date above changes with them, and a change does not apply retroactively to a card already graded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Texas, United States, and any dispute is heard there.
