Character info

The character

Regieleki is an Electric-type Legendary Pokémon introduced in the Galar region, part of the Regi group of titans alongside Regirock, Regice, and Registeel. It is known in the games for its extraordinary Speed stat, the highest of any Pokémon, and its ability to discharge massive electrical currents. Regieleki is often depicted as a living conduit of lightning, crackling with energy even at rest.

This card

This is Regieleki V, card number 057 out of 195 from the Silver Tempest set, printed in 2022 as a Holo Rare. The artwork by Eske Yoshinob shows Regieleki mid-discharge, its body surrounded by crackling bolts of electricity against a stormy, lightning-filled sky. The card bears the standard V treatment with the oversized name banner and bold HP display.

How it plays

Regieleki V is a Basic Pokémon with 200 HP, weak to Fighting-type attacks (x2), no resistance listed, and a retreat cost of one colorless energy. Its first attack, Switching Bolt, costs one Lightning energy, deals 30 damage, and lets the player switch this Pokémon with one of their Benched Pokémon. Its second attack, Lightning Wall, costs one Lightning and two Colorless energy, deals 100 damage, and causes this Pokémon to take 100 less damage from attacks during the opponent's next turn, after Weakness and Resistance are applied. As a Pokémon V, when it is Knocked Out the opponent takes two Prize cards.

Card details confirmed

A card with this name and number exists in the public card catalogue, in Silver Tempest, a set of 195 cards, rarity Holo Rare V. The details on this certificate match it.

Illustrated by Eske Yoshinob and published 2022-11-11. Both come from the public catalogue, not from WinnTCG.

A catalogue match is not the authenticity check. It confirms the card is the card it claims to be. Whether it is genuine was checked separately, on the card itself; see Authenticity below.

Authenticity

WinnTCG authenticated this card in hand, on the bench, against genuine Pokémon cards. It was checked four ways: light shone through it to check the core, its weight on a scale, its thickness measured, and its print pattern and surface texture under magnification.

How this card was graded

WinnTCG graded this card in hand, on the bench. The card was in our hands, and we sealed the case ourselves. We photographed it here under controlled light to show which card is in the case and where anything we marked sits on it.

If you are buying this slab: the grade is WinnTCG’s judgement of the card that was in front of us, and WinnTCG sealed this case. The photographs above are of that card. Compare them against what you can see through the case, because a case can be opened by anyone who has held it since.

The working behind this grade

Every grade here is published with its reasoning. The report states what each measurement returned, what the model proposed on each axis, where the grader disagreed with it, and every defect marked on the photographs above.
