Character info

The character

Umbreon is the Dark-type evolution of Eevee, first introduced in the Pokémon Gold and Silver games. It evolves from Eevee when leveled up at night with high friendship, and is known for its black coat and glowing yellow rings. In the games and anime, Umbreon is prized for its defensive capability and its link to moonlight.

This card

This is Umbreon ex, card number 017/040 from the 30th Anniversary Collection set (set code 30thDC), printed in 2026 in a full art ex treatment. The Chinese-language card depicts a dynamic illustration of Umbreon lunging forward with glowing rings and trailing light effects, illustrated by Keisuke Azuma. A small Pikachu icon with '30' is shown in the lower left of the artwork, marking the 30th anniversary theme.

How it plays

This Stage 1 Pokémon evolves from Eevee and has 270 HP. Its attack, named Moonlight Claw, costs one Darkness Energy and one Colorless Energy and deals 100+ damage, dealing an additional 140 damage if the Defending Pokémon already has damage counters on it. It has a weakness to Grass-type attacks (×2), no listed resistance, and a retreat cost of two Colorless Energy. As an ex Pokémon, when it is knocked out the opponent takes two Prize cards.

Authenticity

WinnTCG authenticated this card in hand, on the bench, against genuine Pokémon cards. It was checked four ways: light shone through it to check the core, its weight on a scale, its thickness measured, and its print pattern and surface texture under magnification.

How this card was graded

WinnTCG graded this card in hand, on the bench. The card was in our hands, and we sealed the case ourselves. We photographed it here under controlled light to show which card is in the case and where anything we marked sits on it.

If you are buying this slab: the grade is WinnTCG’s judgement of the card that was in front of us, and WinnTCG sealed this case. The photographs above are of that card. Compare them against what you can see through the case, because a case can be opened by anyone who has held it since.

The working behind this grade

Every grade here is published with its reasoning. The report states what each measurement returned, what the model proposed on each axis, where the grader disagreed with it, and every defect marked on the photographs above.
