Character info

The character

Archaludon is a Steel/Dragon-type Pokémon that evolves from Duraludon. It is known for the large bridge-like structure formed by its tail, which it reportedly uses to span chasms and assist other Pokémon in crossing difficult terrain. It digs for food in mountains and is noted for its hard, resilient body.

This card

This is card 213/208 from the Chinese CSV9C set, a Stage 1 AR (full-art) holo rarity card. The illustration by Toshinao Aoki depicts an oversized Archaludon forming a bridge over a market street, with townsfolk and children reacting to its scale. The card is printed in Simplified Chinese and carries a 2026 copyright line.

How it plays

Archaludon has 180 HP and is weak to Fire (x2) with a resistance of -30 to Grass type; its retreat cost is two Colorless energy. Its Ability, Steel Gangway, removes all energy needed for retreat from any of the player's own Pokémon that have Psychic energy attached, as long as this Pokémon is in play. Its attack, Steel Detonation, costs two Colorless and one Star energy, deals 160 damage, and prevents this Pokémon from using any attacks during the player's next turn.

Authenticity

WinnTCG authenticated this card in hand, on the bench, against genuine Pokémon cards. It was checked four ways: light shone through it to check the core, its weight on a scale, its thickness measured, and its print pattern and surface texture under magnification.

How this card was graded

WinnTCG graded this card in hand, on the bench. The card was in our hands, and we sealed the case ourselves. We photographed it here under controlled light to show which card is in the case and where anything we marked sits on it.

If you are buying this slab: the grade is WinnTCG’s judgement of the card that was in front of us, and WinnTCG sealed this case. The photographs above are of that card. Compare them against what you can see through the case, because a case can be opened by anyone who has held it since.

The working behind this grade

Every grade here is published with its reasoning. The report states what each measurement returned, what the model proposed on each axis, where the grader disagreed with it, and every defect marked on the photographs above.
