Character info

The character

Dragapult is a Dragon/Ghost-type Pokémon introduced in the Galar region, the final evolution of Dreepy and Drakloak. It is known in the games for its tremendous Speed stat and its ability to launch its Dreepy companions from its antennae like missiles. In the anime and games it is portrayed as an elusive, fast-moving predator of the wild landscapes.

This card

This is Dragapult ex, card number 073 of 131 from the Prismatic Evolutions set, printed as a holo rare (RR) Tera-type card. The artwork, illustrated by 5ban Graphics, depicts a crystalline, fractured rendering of Dreepy and Dragapult set against a shattered glass backdrop. The card is a Stage 2 Pokémon, evolving from Drakloak, with a Tera Ghost-type crown design on its border.

How it plays

This Stage 2 Pokémon ex has 320 HP and is Ghost-type (Tera). Its passive ability prevents all attack damage to it while it is on the Bench, from either player. It has two attacks: Jet Headbutt, costing one colorless energy, dealing 70 damage, and Phantom Dive, costing one Fire and one Psychic energy, dealing 200 damage and placing 6 damage counters on the opponent's Benched Pokémon in any way chosen. It has no listed weakness or resistance, a retreat cost of one colorless energy, and follows the Pokémon ex rule granting the opponent 2 Prize cards when it is Knocked Out.

A card with this name and number exists in the public card catalogue, in Prismatic Evolutions, a set of 131 cards, rarity RR. The details on this certificate match it.

A catalogue match is not the authenticity check. It confirms the card is the card it claims to be. Whether it is genuine was checked separately, on the card itself; see Authenticity below.

Authenticity

WinnTCG authenticated this card in hand, on the bench, against genuine Pokémon cards. It was checked four ways: light shone through it to check the core, its weight on a scale, its thickness measured, and its print pattern and surface texture under magnification.

How this card was graded

WinnTCG graded this card in hand, on the bench. The card was in our hands, and we sealed the case ourselves. We photographed it here under controlled light to show which card is in the case and where anything we marked sits on it.

If you are buying this slab: the grade is WinnTCG’s judgement of the card that was in front of us, and WinnTCG sealed this case. The photographs above are of that card. Compare them against what you can see through the case, because a case can be opened by anyone who has held it since.

The working behind this grade

Every grade here is published with its reasoning. The report states what each measurement returned, what the model proposed on each axis, where the grader disagreed with it, and every defect marked on the photographs above.
