Character info

The character

Clefable is a Fairy-type Pokemon known for its shy nature and rare appearances, said to live in mountainous regions and move so swiftly it is seldom seen. It evolves from Clefairy and is associated with moon folklore and mysterious energy. Mega Clefable represents a heightened, Mega-Evolved form of this normally reclusive Pokemon, gaining greater power and presence.

This card

This card is numbered 031/088 from the Perfect Order set, printed as a Double Rare (RR). It depicts Mega Clefable ex in a Stage 1 card that evolves from Clefairy, illustrated by aky CG Works. The artwork shows Clefable mid-motion against a swirling, star-filled pink and blue background with holographic treatment typical of its rarity.

How it plays

This Stage 1 Pokemon has 320 HP, a Psychic typing, weakness to Fighting types (x2), and a retreat cost of one. Its Ability, Luminous Wing, prevents all effects of the opponent's Pokemon's Abilities from being done to it. Its attack, Shooting Moons, costs two Psychic energy and deals 120+ damage, allowing the player to discard up to 4 Energy cards from hand to add 40 more damage per card discarded. As a Mega Evolution ex, if this Pokemon is Knocked Out, the opponent takes 3 Prize cards instead of the usual amount.

A catalogue match is not the authenticity check. It confirms the card is the card it claims to be. Whether it is genuine was checked separately, on the card itself; see Authenticity below.

Authenticity

WinnTCG authenticated this card in hand, on the bench, against genuine Pokémon cards. It was checked four ways: light shone through it to check the core, its weight on a scale, its thickness measured, and its print pattern and surface texture under magnification.

How this card was graded

WinnTCG graded this card in hand, on the bench. The card was in our hands, and we sealed the case ourselves. We photographed it here under controlled light to show which card is in the case and where anything we marked sits on it.

If you are buying this slab: the grade is WinnTCG’s judgement of the card that was in front of us, and WinnTCG sealed this case. The photographs above are of that card. Compare them against what you can see through the case, because a case can be opened by anyone who has held it since.

The working behind this grade

Every grade here is published with its reasoning. The report states what each measurement returned, what the model proposed on each axis, where the grader disagreed with it, and every defect marked on the photographs above.
