Character info

The character

Regieleki is an Electric-type Legendary Pokemon introduced in the Sword and Shield generation, known within the games as one of the three Legendary Titans found in the Crown Tundra. It is recognized as the fastest Pokemon in its generation and is associated with raw electrical speed and power. Regieleki is often paired narratively with Regidrago as a counterpart Legendary.

This card

This is Regieleki V, card number 057 out of 195 from the Silver Tempest set, printed in 2022 as a Holo Rare V. The artwork by Eske Yoshinob depicts Regieleki unleashing a burst of lightning against a dark, electrified sky. The card features the holo foil treatment typical of V-rule cards, with the V rule text printed along the bottom stating that a Knocked Out V Pokemon gives the opponent two Prize cards.

How it plays

Regieleki V is a Basic Pokemon with 200 HP and Lightning typing. Its first attack, Switching Bolt, costs a single Lightning energy, deals 30 damage, and lets the player switch this Pokemon with one of their Benched Pokemon. Its second attack, Lightning Wall, costs one Lightning and two Colorless energy, deals 100 damage, and causes this Pokemon to take 100 less damage from attacks during the opponent's next turn, applied after Weakness and Resistance. The card has a weakness to Fighting-type attacks at double damage, no listed resistance, and a retreat cost of one Colorless energy.

A card with this name and number exists in the public card catalogue, in Silver Tempest, a set of 195 cards, rarity Holo Rare V. The details on this certificate match it.

A catalogue match is not the authenticity check. It confirms the card is the card it claims to be. Whether it is genuine was checked separately, on the card itself; see Authenticity below.

Authenticity

WinnTCG authenticated this card in hand, on the bench, against genuine Pokémon cards. It was checked four ways: light shone through it to check the core, its weight on a scale, its thickness measured, and its print pattern and surface texture under magnification.

How this card was graded

WinnTCG graded this card in hand, on the bench. The card was in our hands, and we sealed the case ourselves. We photographed it here under controlled light to show which card is in the case and where anything we marked sits on it.

If you are buying this slab: the grade is WinnTCG’s judgement of the card that was in front of us, and WinnTCG sealed this case. The photographs above are of that card. Compare them against what you can see through the case, because a case can be opened by anyone who has held it since.

The working behind this grade

Every grade here is published with its reasoning. The report states what each measurement returned, what the model proposed on each axis, where the grader disagreed with it, and every defect marked on the photographs above.
