About

WinnTCG grades trading cards and seals them in a case with a certificate that keeps answering for as long as the card exists. This page is what we do and what we will not claim. Every line of it can be checked from the links on it, which is the only kind of “about us” worth reading.

Every grade shows its working

We grade the card itself, in hand. The photographs we take of it are published on the certificate, permanently, next to the grade. So is the reasoning: what each measurement returned, what was proposed on each axis, and where the grader disagreed with it. Open any certificate and the whole assessment is there to download. Most of the industry keeps that in its records; ours travels with the card.

The grade is computed, not pronounced

Four axes — centering, corners, edges and surface — and the overall number is derived from those four rather than written over them. The grading scale shows the arithmetic on a real card, including the case where the derived number is not the one a person would have guessed.

A certificate outlives us

A certificate number is sealed inside a plastic case, so the page it points at has to answer long after any particular server has stopped. Certificate pages are written once as plain files and served from storage that does not depend on our office, our machines, or anything we could accidentally switch off. Verification covers how to check one, and why the photographs are the check that a copied number cannot fake.

What we do not claim

We have no opinion on what your card is worth. There is no price guide here, no estimate of what another grader would have given it, and no number dressed up as a measurement.

We ship within the United States, and nowhere else. Pricing has the detail, including what is covered while a card is with us.

What we grade

Pokémon, One Piece, Star Wars Unlimited, Magic, Lorcana, sports cards, Topps, and Panini. If your card is not on that list, ask before you send it.

Where to find us

Crazy Space Labs LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as WinnTCG, a company based in the United States. The mailing address and how to reach a person are on contact, or email hello@winntcg.com.

If you want to see the work rather than read about it, every card we have graded has a certificate, and any of them can be opened by anyone holding the slab or the number.
