What we need before you pay
Read this first. It's everything this service does, everything we need from you, and everything it won't do, all of it before you're asked to pay.
What we will grade
If it's a standard-size trading card, we'll grade it.
One rule: it can't already be in someone else's slab. We'd be photographing their plastic.
What you get
A grade with all four sub-grades behind it, a printed label with an NFC chip in it, an acrylic case, and a certificate page that keeps answering for as long as the slab exists.
The case is acrylic, so it stays clear. It will not go yellow sitting in the light, which is more than can be said for a lot of the clear plastic in a card collection.
We grade the card itself, in hand, and the photographs we take of it are published right beside the grade, permanently. The evidence travels with the card instead of sitting in our records where it does you no good.
We ship within the United States. Nowhere else, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
What we need from you
The card, and the order number on the paperwork inside the parcel rather than on the outside. That is the whole homework.
We take the photographs ourselves, under our own lights, with the card in front of us. They are what the certificate page publishes and what anyone checking your grade will look at, so it is a job worth doing properly and it is ours rather than yours.
What this is, and what it is not
You mail us the card. We photograph it under our own lights, a grader grades the card itself, in hand, and we seal the case ourselves.
Your certificate says so in plain words, and publishes the photographs beside the grade, so anyone who taps it reads the same story you do.
A grade is a judgement about condition. On Pokémon cards we also check that the card is genuine, with a light test, weight, thickness, and print and texture under magnification, and the certificate page says so. On other games we do not, and no check can promise a card is genuine. Set the card beside the photographs on the certificate page and compare them yourself, because that is a check nobody can do for you.
